Wortal and k-ID Partner to Deliver Built-In Compliance for Global Game Studios
Game developers can now launch games with seamless age verification and global policy adherence—no extra integration or overhead required.
April 7th, 2025 – Tokyo — On the heels of GDC 2025, Wortal.AI, the all-in-one platform for game distribution and monetization, has announced a strategic partnership with k-ID, the global leader in age verification and child data privacy in gaming.
The partnership means that game studios and indie developers publishing through Wortal now get automatic access to industry-standard age verification and parental consent tools—ensuring their games are compliant with rules like COPPA and GDPR-K from day one, with zero extra implementation or legal overhead.
As rules around kids’ data and online safety get tougher, advertisers are starting to pull ads from platforms that aren’t compliant. That puts pressure on developers, publishers, and platforms to get ahead of it. The partnership began with the integration of k-ID’s tools into Wortal.Games—a cross-platform website and app where all Wortal games can be played free on any device. This made Wortal.Games safer for kids and easier for parents, with built-in age checks and parental consent.

Following the collaboration, Wortal.Games was added to k-ID’s Family Portal and featured in k-ID’s “The Play List 2025”—a curated group of games and platforms leading the industry in child safety and policy best practices.
The partnership further strengthens Wortal’s position as a one-stop solution for game developers, combining tools for publishing, monetization, analytics—and now, built-in global compliance.
