"We started k-ID, because there's just this incredible opportunity to actually empower kids and teens when it comes to their experience online. I think what's incredible is that in this day and age, the first interaction that kids have online is still that they really just have to lie to get online.
In many cases, with the help of their parents, they see that pop up. I confirm I'm over 13, then enter their data birth. They know even from a young age that in many services that in, in a lot of cases, it's something that, you know, they'd love to get into and where they get to build their community, they have to input an age that is much older than they are.
And it's kind of wild that that's the case. Even though kids today are building more of that community and more of their identity online at a younger age than ever before, and so I think for me, just being able to deliver a platform and a technology that can be inclusive and empowering of kids for this generation and the next generation is really why we do what we do."
